Tips for a smooth and seamless loan closing
The closing and moving process is a stressful time for almost all homebuyers. There are several very important steps that must happen. Please review the Harbour Homes procedure below. Once your customer service representative has scheduled your Homeowner Orientation appointment, you should then set an appointment to sign closing papers with the appropriate escrow company. - Make sure your loan officer has forwarded all necessary documents to your escrow company.
It is important for homebuyers to understand that lending institutions are responsible for having loan documents sent to the escrow company. Escrow companies must have your loan documents in their possession before they can meet with you to sign papers. It is advisable that you stay in close contact with both your agent and your lending institution to ensure there are no unforeseen delays. - Attend your escrow appointment.
